In fact, a survey prepared by our CEO, together with Gabe Piccoli and Lurie Williams, for the Cutter Consortium that was published in September 2010 showed that 58% of the teams doing Kanban reported increased customer satisfaction; 64% reported increase in quality; and 71% reported increase in productivity over other, mostly agile, methodologies. This methodology is being adopted also by enterprises who were originally reluctant to other agile methodologies. This is because Kanban is not a drop-your-current-process-and-start-over methodology. It starts where you currently are and generates continuous improvements that motivates stakeholders to actively participate in the improvements, making it amazingly effective. Furthermore it scales with ease and has fabulous impact at both team and enterprise level.
