About The Event
Utilizing our trademarked "game," Papyrus City, over a four-and-a-half day period participants will learn, in detail, the roles and responsibilities in the Scrum agile project management framework.
In Phase I (days 1 and 2), participants experience each role of a Scrum team (Customer, Management, Product Owner, Scrum Master, Development Team Member) with a quality focus and receive a full understanding of each role on a Scrum team.
Through experience, many teams have proven an even greater success in applying the Scrum framework by adding in the power of a Kanban board. This combined approach, called Scrumban, brings in the best of both the Scrum framework and the Kanban methodology. Phase II (day 3) teaches a way to implement this powerful tool.
Phase III (day 4) focuses just on stripping any framework from the Kanban board and utilizing its lean-agile approach to start any project moving toward a more lean-agile management with a focus on quality and getting tasks done.
The outcome of this training will include a superior understanding of each role on the Scrum team (and preparation for any industry Scrum certification as well as the opportunity to take the examinations for the Scrumban and Kanban for Knowledge Work Alliance certification.
